If you’re into a bit of rustic charm, then Playa de la Granadella in Javea awaits. Nestled within the cliffs of a rugged coastline, this tranquil cove has lots of homespun appeal. Crystalline aquamarine waters make it an ideal spot for snorkeling—perhaps even an occasional fish might swim by to say hello.
Next, Playa de la Fossa in Calpe is a place that just must be on your itinery. Picture this: soft warm sand beneath your feet, the Peñón de Ifach rock towering majestically beside you. It’s downright miraculous, a veritable feast for the eyes. Many people say that you haven’t really been to the Costa Blanca until you’ve lounged here.
And it’s onto something a little more adventurous – windsurfing at Playa de San Juan. Almost 7 awesome kilometers long, this has got to be Great Cruise territory for those with plenty of pizzazz. But of course we can’t possibly leave out Benidorm’s famous Playa de Levante. By day, throngs of families revel in the sun and surf here. But as soon as the sun sets, things take on quite another character altogether as night-life starts up with a vengeance.
